Preorders opened the same day through Limited Run Games and close August 23 at 11:59 p.m. ET, a hard deadline four days before launch.
Why it matters
Collector's editions are a confidence signal as much as a product: publishers don't tool up detonator replicas for games they expect to bury quietly. Between this, the cast reveal, and a panel fronted by the narrative director, EA is treating Zero Company like a flagship. Thirty days out, that's worth registering.
Fair warning on the price math, though: $299.99 is a lot of credits for a replica prop and packaging. The game inside is the same one in the $49.99 edition.
