Three Star Wars games get something new on Tuesday, October 6. Galactic Racer unlocks at 4am Central, The Old Republic's Feast of Prosperity starts at 7am, and The Ronin's packs are due in Galaxy of Heroes at 1pm. Two deadlines follow: the Steam Autumn Sale ends Thursday at noon, and the current SWGOH Conquest closes next Monday. All times below are Central.
Tuesday, October 6
- 4am: Star Wars: Galactic Racer unlocks on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, one worldwide unlock at 09:00 UTC. Preloads, Steam Deck and PC specs are covered in Sunday's launch-eve checklist, and the launch countdown converts the time for your city.
- 7am: Feast of Prosperity starts in The Old Republic. The Hutt-themed event has weekly story missions that end in a choice between two Hutts, it is open from level 20, and it runs to November 3. Its end is 12:00 GMT, which is 6am Central that day, because the clocks fall back on November 1.
- 1pm: The Ronin's packs go on sale in Galaxy of Heroes. The game's store data lists the marquee packs from 1pm Tuesday to 1pm October 20. Capital Games has not announced a date itself; its September 30 update showed "now available" art for the Dark Side character and nothing more. Nobody outside the studio has seen the kit yet.
- PS Plus: October's monthly games (F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2) arrive Tuesday and stay until November 2. None is a Star Wars game. September's games can still be claimed today.
- Game Pass: Gears of War: E-Day launches on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass the same morning as Galactic Racer. If you are downloading Galactic Racer on Xbox, start as soon as it unlocks, before the Gears crowd fills the queue.
Thursday, October 8
- Noon: the Steam Autumn Sale ends. Until then Jedi: Survivor is $10.49 and Squadrons is $3.99, and both Knights of the Old Republic games are $3.99 each. Our Star Wars price list for the sale has every title, including the few that are not discounted.
Monday, October 12
- 1pm: Conquest 25 ends in Galaxy of Heroes. This is the Embo & Keibu Conquest, which opened September 28. If you are deciding whether he is worth the push, here is who Embo is and whether to chase him.
Where to spend a free evening
Go for the deadlines first. The Steam prices go back up on Thursday and the Conquest closes on Monday afternoon, while Galactic Racer and the Feast of Prosperity will both still be there next weekend. The Ronin's packs run two weeks, so there is no reason to buy on Tuesday afternoon before players have seen what the character does.
