Buy Jedi: Survivor at $10.49. The Steam Autumn Sale went live at noon Central today and runs to noon Central on October 8, and Survivor is 85 percent off its $69.99 list, which is $3.50 under what it cost in the Summer Sale and matches EA's own Star Wars sale that ended last week. Squadrons, Knights of the Old Republic and KOTOR II are $3.99 each. Thirty-four of the 37 Star Wars games we checked on Steam are discounted. The three that are not: Zero Company at $49.99, Jedi Academy at $9.99, and Galactic Racer, which launches October 6 at $59.99.
Steam sale prices hold for the whole event, so there is no reason to wait for a better one before the 8th. Every discounted page we checked reads "Offer ends October 8."
The five worth buying at these prices
- Jedi: Survivor, $10.49 (85% off). The best Star Wars game of the current era, and the PC version has been fixed since Patch 9. Our case for it, and when to subscribe instead: is Jedi: Survivor worth it in 2026.
- Knights of the Old Republic, $3.99 (60% off). Still the best Star Wars story in games, for the price of a coffee. Is KOTOR worth playing in 2026 covers the widescreen fixes you will want.
- KOTOR II: The Sith Lords, $3.99 (60% off). Buy this one on Steam, because the Restored Content Mod installs from the Workshop in one click. Here is how.
- Jedi: Fallen Order, $7.99 (80% off). Play it before Survivor. If you are buying both, the pair is $18.48. Is Fallen Order still worth playing has the one PC problem to know about.
- Squadrons, $3.99 (90% off). Buy it for the campaign and for VR, where it is still the best cockpit Star Wars has had. Do not buy it for multiplayer: our count found rarely more than 50 people on Steam at once.
Battlefront II (2017) at $9.99 just misses the list. It is a fine buy if your friends play on PC, and a lonely one if they play on console, since there is no crossplay. The details are in our Battlefront II verdict.
What is not on sale
Zero Company stays at $49.99. It has not been discounted on Steam since its launch, and it sat out this sale too. If you were holding for the Autumn Sale, the wait goes on; our one-month check-in has the case for buying at full price and the case for waiting.
Jedi Academy stays at $9.99. It is the only classic on Steam left out of the sale, and it is $3.49 on GOG right now (more on that below).
Galactic Racer is $59.99 to pre-purchase, with no discount, ahead of its October 6 launch. Our preorder guide covers the editions.
The Battlefront Classic Collection is 25 percent off, $26.25 against a $35.01 list. We still tell people to skip the PC version and buy the two original games separately for $4.99 each.
Steam or GOG?
GOG's own sale has every classic Star Wars game discounted until early October 7, and our where-to-buy guide recommends GOG for most of them because you get an offline installer you keep. With the Autumn Sale live, the two stores now charge the same for almost everything. Three exceptions:
- Jedi Academy: GOG $3.49, Steam $9.99. Buy it on GOG.
- Rogue Squadron 3D: GOG $3.49, Steam $4.99. Buy it on GOG.
- KOTOR II: GOG $3.49, Steam $3.99. Pay the extra 50 cents on Steam for the Workshop, unless you are happy installing the mod by hand.
Empire at War is $6.99 on both, and Steam is still the place to buy it for the Workshop and the 64-bit update. For everything else, buy whichever launcher you already use, and do it before GOG's sale ends on the 7th if GOG is your pick.

Outlaws was already $17.49 in a weekend deal that ended today, and it rolled straight into the sale at the same price. If you skipped it then, our Outlaws verdict is the thing to read before you spend the money now.
If you own none of the above, $18.48 gets you both Jedi games and $7.98 gets you both KOTORs. That is the whole of the best story-driven Star Wars on PC for under $27, and it is the part of this sale we would not let pass.
