Zero Company is a 9, and most of its studio was furloughed before launch
It has been eleven days since the last Dispatch, longer than it should have been, so this one covers all of it. Our Zero Company review went up the afternoon after the last issue, and the verdict is a 9. That same week, Game File reported that Bit Reactor had furloughed most of its staff before launch, and the studio confirmed it. One deadline, if it applies to you: preorders for the $299.99 Collector's Edition close Sunday, September 13 at 11:59pm Eastern, with no restock. Our advice has not changed. Skip it unless you wanted the thermal detonator replica anyway.

Star Wars Zero Company review: the squad is the game
A 9 out of 10. Thirty-plus hours with one squad and not a single casualty. Bit Reactor built the Clone Wars fantasy fans have wanted, and undersold its own tactics doing it.

Most of Bit Reactor was furloughed before Zero Company launched
Sent home without pay weeks before launch, and the studio's own statement ties their return to the game selling. What is on the record, what is only sourced, and why a negative review punishes the people it is meant to help.

Zero Company's second Sunday: 35,430, and our forecast was wrong
We said 38,000 to 42,000. It did 35,430, the weekend lift was 5 percent instead of 20, and the game fell from first to eighth on Steam's sellers chart. From Tuesday to Thursday this week, the daily highs in our tracker ran between about 16,500 and 21,500.

Galactic Racer launches October 6: what is confirmed, and what is not
It went gold August 20 and costs $59.99. Four vehicle classes, a roguelike campaign, 12-player Tour mode with crossplay, and Sebulba. Still unannounced: the track count, the full roster, the review embargo and Steam Deck status.

Every Star Wars game on Game Pass, and which tier gets you each one
Eight games as of September 8. Six come through EA Play, so you need Ultimate or PC Game Pass for those. Two are in the Game Pass catalog proper. The list, the tier math, and what is missing.

Is Jedi: Survivor worth it in 2026?
Yes on console, and yes on PC now that Patch 9 fixed the stutter and removed Denuvo. Never at its $69.99 list price. When to buy, when to subscribe through EA Play instead, and the one case where Fallen Order is the better call.

Zero Company classes explained: all eight specializations
Every ability from EA's own guide, the four exotic classes you cannot pick, the weapon pairings, and the pick for Hawks: Scoundrel, with a Sharpshooter to cash in the crits.

Every Star Wars space combat game ranked, X-Wing to Squadrons
Thirteen starfighter games across thirty-three years, ranked on review scores, sales and who is still flying. TIE Fighter is first, Rogue Leader is the best console entry, and Squadrons, the only modern one, comes ninth.
